wizemail personalises emails on two levels: by campaign and by individual.

On a global campaign level, items such as the subject field and the return name and email address can be easily set up and changed. Emails can be sent from an established wizemail email address, or, if you can set up POP access to your own servers, from an address at your own domain.

Individually, you can go to great lengths to personalise your emails. As well as the obvious first name and last name options, you can utilise up to ten completely user-definable fields. If you use these to store your recipients' company name, for instance, or perhaps the date that they last ordered from you, then you can integrate these into your emails to create highly personalised communications.

You can set default values for each address book. For instance, if you don't have the first name of some of your customers, you might want these to receive emails that begin 'Dear Valued Customer' instead.

All these fields can be accessed, edited, imported and exported via the address book manager screen, and there's no obscure syntax required when you include them on your mailings - it's all done via drop-down menus.
